Recent Experiments

A generative theatre play

The Floor proposes an interplay between visitors, AI and physical space, transforming them into characters that play an active role in an emerging, generative narrative.

An opinionated doorstep

This life-size installation revolves around the first encounter between a person and a space, reimagining the entrance as a sentient, witty being that responds to your physical presence.

Fabric touch controllers

Replacing traditional button and touchscreen controls with textiles. Taking advantage of the conductive properties of fabric to give a different, surprising tactile response when controlling an environment.

An augmented looking glass

The Lens merges the qualities of real, physical objects with those of their digital representations. This seamless integration enables an intuitive, interactive way to discover products without the need of a phone.

Setting the sun with a bouncy ball

In collaboration with artist Philip Schuette, we created an interactive installation that transforms one of nature’s most mediated phenomena – the rising and setting of the sun – into a playful, sensory experience.

Reactive privacy glass

By regulating the voltage supplied to smart glass, opaque walls can turn in to transparent windows in response to visitors' approach, drawing them closer to observe the subject behind.

A social gardening game

The Garden functions as an icebreaker between people in a physical space, embracing chance and spontaneity. The installation uses a combination of ChatGPT and DALL-E to synthesise the characteristics of two plants and create a new, one-of-a-kind seedling.

View Project

Object controlled scenography

Ambient lighting becomes a spotlight on an object, in response to user interaction, highlighting the subject of their attention.

An AI agent as stage director

An LLM guides a group of individuals around a space using the minimal input of their x- and y-coordinates. A rotating iPad directs its attention to individuals close by and employs different persuasion techniques to make people come into the circle and start walking around.

A living roomset

As visitors move furniture around a scene, the lighting and soundscapes shift with them, demonstrating the passage of time and how a product's use can change over the course of a day.
